Sophomores at Cape Central High School are gaining valuable life lessons this semester thanks to the support of community partners through the ABCToday network.

The six-week program during the advisory hour covers various topics designed to prepare students for the workplace. The sessions include lessons on communicating about yourself, crafting applications and resumes, mastering job interviews, understanding cell phone etiquette in the workplace, effective workplace communication, and professional writing. These skills are not only vital for landing a job but also for succeeding in any career path students choose to pursue.

By focusing on real-world skills, the program ensures students are prepared to tackle workplace challenges with confidence and professionalism.
